Had many fish and chips over the years discovered Chris’s mid 2024 the food is always first class and the staff and service is perfect, nothing is too much trouble and always friendly and smiling, highly recommend and will keep coming back

This place is without doubt the friendliest fish shop I’ve ever been to. The people are wonderful such a great atmosphere. The food is amazing also. This place has so much character & atmosphere. It’s a family run business also which the take massive pride in. I could of stayed there and chatted all day.

My friend visiting England from Sweden has been excited to try real chip shop fish and chips for some time now. So, they had to be the best, and Chris Fish Bar that we have been using for over 20 years delivered the perfect battered cod, chips with curry sauce. My friend thoroughly enjoyed it and said he will miss it when he goes home. It was really good, cooked perfectly and fresh. Our family consider Chris Fish Bar to be the best in Stafford. It's consistent regardless of what time or day and the staff are friendly. We're quite happy to drive to the other side of Stafford when we want our fish & chips, they never disappoint! Cheers!

This fish and chip shop has been serving my family the finest food for nearly 50 years . I’ve spent nearly 30 years of that living on the coast and have yet to taste fish and chips as good as they serve at Chris’s. Their methods of cooking the most fresh and fat fillets hasn’t changed and neither has their customer service - and that’s why we keep coming back :) The best chippy in the country :)
